What is a murder mystery?
Murder mystery is a game where a murder takes place in a fictional story, and your goal is to correctly guess who the murderer is.
How do I play murder mystery?
Guests are assigned a character before the game starts. Characters are given character cards, which include a description of their character, and 'tasks'. Those 'tasks' instruct you to talk to others, which give you clues to help you guess who the murderer is.
What event would this be good for?
Any event where your goal is to get guests interacting outside their usual groups — birthday parties, corporate events, family reunions, and more.

A Pirates Last Stand
(Pirate Theme)
The year is 1650, and King Kyles pirates have successfully conquered the enemy! Sailing back, the pirates plan to celebrate and enjoy their victory. But amongst the celebration, one of the pirates were found dead! Was it a fellow pirate, a crew mate, or maybe one of the landlubbers? Who would have done such a thing!
Death on Game Day
(Football Theme)
The Devils football team is in the superbowl. John Dorsey, the owner of the team was found dead a couple hours before kickoff! Cheerleaders, football players and the staff were all brought in for questioning. Figure out who did it, or else the superbowl may be cancelled!
Mobsters Galore (1920's Speakeasy)
The year is 1925, we’re in the heart of the roaring 20's. Other than mobsters running the town, things seem to be going great. The stock market is soaring, jazz and baseball are becoming popular, more people are driving the Ford Model T, women have gained the right to vote. It'd be nice to celebrate with a drink — except Prohibition just began, and drinking is now illegal. That's where speakeasies come in, and you're standing in one right now.
Is it a Boomtown?
(Wild West Theme)
You’re in a small town called Eagle Ridge California the year is 1850, over the last few years, the economy and population here has dwindled. Some of the civic leaders haven’t been taking care of their people, and these people have slowly been fleeing to neighboring towns, specifically “boomtowns”.
According to some civic leaders and a senior prospector here at Eagle Ridge, news has spread that some of the prospectors are on the brink of finding a lot of gold in one of the local mines. If true, this would draw a lot of attention to Eagle Ridge, and would help regrow the population and solve the issues of the dying economy.
