What is a murder mystery?

Murder Mystery is a host-led game where guests are given a character in a fictional story and the goal of the game is to figure out who the murderer is!

How do I play murder mystery?

Guests are assigned a character before the game starts. The goal of the game, is to correctly guess who the murderer is, which happens at the end of the story. All characters are given character cards, which include a description of their character, and 'tasks'. Those 'tasks' instruct you to talk to other characters in the game, which give you clues to help you guess who the murderer is.

What type of party / get together would be good for this?

Any event where your goal is to get your guests to interact with each other outside of their usual 'groups/cliques'. Some examples include, birthday parties, corporate events, etc.

A Pirates Last Stand

(Pirate Theme)

The year is 1650, and King Kyles pirates have successfully conquered the enemy! Sailing back, the pirates plan to celebrate their and enjoy their victory. But amongst the celebration, one of the pirates were found dead! Was it a fellow pirate, a crew mate, or maybe one of the landlubbers? Who would have done such a thing!

Death on Game Day

(Football Theme)

The Devils football team is in the superbowl. John Dorsey, the owner of the team was found dead a couple hours before kickoff! Cheerleaders, football players and the staff were all brought in for questioning. Figure out who did it, or else the superbowl may be cancelled!
